Brotherswater Inn – sample whisky list

At the Brotherswater Inn and in the Barn End Bar we have a wide selection of malt whisky’s and blends. Below are just a few. We inherited over 130 from the previous owner, but thankfully have managed to get shot of the more obscure ones!

10 year olds

Glenmorangie (Highland) 40%

‘Honeyed sweetness fused with notes of citrus, vanilla and almonds, making it delicate, alluring and very complex.’

Ardbeg (Islay) 46%

‘Non Chill-filtered retaining maximum flavour giving more body and depth. Full bodied and smoky.’

Tobermory (Isle of Mull, Western Highlands) 40%

‘Medium dry, smooth and fruity with a lightly peated smoky nose.’

Aberlour (Highland) 40%

‘Rich, smooth mellow flavour marrying aromas of autumn fruits with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg.’

Bushmills (Ireland) 40%

The Balvenie Single Barrel (Highland) 47.8%

Lagavulin (Islay) 43%

Glenfarclas 105 (Speyside) 60%
