Site Facilities
Sykeside provides all the site facilities you need for an enjoyable break with us, whether camping, touring or glamping
Toilets and showers
The toilets and showers are cleaned frequently and maintained throughout the day. Showers are push button so do not require any coins or tokens to use. Please bear in mind the showers do not contain any products. There are sockets next to the mirrors so that you may plug in your hairdryer etc if needs be.

Laundry Room and Pot Wash
Our laundry room contains large sinks, washing machines and tumble dryers. These require tokens which can be purchased at reception. There are also many sinks for doing your washing up.

Water Points
There are two drinking water taps located on the side of the reception building by the rest of the facilities. There is a drive-over grey waste drain and brown waste disposal points. Please be aware due to hygiene rules if you are filling a van with water you will need to bring your own hose pipe.

Charging and plug sockets
Whereas there are plug sockets in the loos and laundry room, we never recommend leaving belongings unattended. If we find valuables left unattended, they may be collected and moved to the lost and found. We usually have a couple of spare sockets behind reception and are always happy to charge small items such as phones and portable chargers for you if we can. If you need to blow up an airbed or use a hair dryer for example, you are more than welcome to use the sockets in the loos and laundry room for this purpose.
Campsite shop
We have a small campsite shop that sells almost everything you might need during your stay. We stock camping essentials, toiletries, cleaning products, a small selection of groceries, a selection of Cranstons meats and sausage rolls, bottled beer and soft drinks. Milk, eggs and juice are delivered by the local milk lady every morning.

Breakfast Baps and Takeaway Hot Drinks
We sell takeaway breakfast baps every morning between 8am and 9.30am. Order your choice of sausage, vegetarian sausage, bacon or both sausage and bacon from the shop and reception and collect from the onsite pub; The Brotherswater Inn. There is a takeaway coffee machine serving hot drinks all day. Cups are provided however you are also more than welcome to bring your own and be environmentally friendly!
