Group Bookings Policy

We at Sykeside try to achieve a peaceful park largely through the mutual respect our guests have for one another.  However, we do have one golden rule – we DO NOT accept large groups of adults.

This rule has worked well for us for years and ensures we maintain the ‘peace and quiet’ our visitors expect.  Sykeside is perfect for all types of guests and we are very happy for couples, friends and families to holiday with us so long as there are no more than 6 adults all together (regardless of how many pitches you are booked across!)

If you are a larger group then we suggest this is probably not the site for you.  If you would like to enquire regarding a group booking then please contact reception before making any booking. It is likely that the answer would be no as past experience has taught us that advertising ourselves as groups free and then accepting a group is rather contradictory.

We do accept both school and Duke of Edinburgh groups as these are largely made up of children, not adults, and are supervised. 

Any unauthorised groups larger than 6 adults found to be staying with us may be asked to leave without a refund. If you have already booked and there are more than 6 adults in total please contact us as a matter of urgency.
